The SGL1-40 is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode from Diotec Semiconductor, designed for efficient rectification in low-voltage applications. It features a maximum DC reverse voltage of 40V and an average rectified forward current of 1A. The forward voltage drop is typically 500mV at 1A, enabling low power dissipation. The diode offers fast recovery characteristics (less than 500ns) and low reverse leakage current: 0.5mA at 25°C and 5mA at 100°C. Junction capacitance is 30pF at 4V reverse bias. The operating junction temperature range is -50°C to 150°C.
The device is housed in a DO-213AA (MiniMELF) surface mount package, compatible with SOD-87. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 2500 units per reel.
