The SG3525AN is a pulse width modulator control circuit designed for controlling various types of switching power supplies. It offers improved performance with a reduced external parts count. The integrated 5.1V reference is trimmed to ±1.0%, and the error amplifier accommodates a common-mode voltage range that includes the reference, eliminating the need for external voltage divider resistors.
Key features include an operating voltage range of 8.0V to 35V and an oscillator frequency range from 100 Hz to 400 kHz. It provides adjustable deadtime control and has built-in soft-start circuitry. The device includes a shutdown pin for controlling soft-start and output stages, offering both instantaneous turn-off and soft-start recycle.
