The SFW8R-2STE1LF is an 8-position FFC/FPC connector from Amphenol ICC featuring a 1.00mm pitch and a right-angle surface mount design. It supports both FFC and FPC cable types with a thickness of 0.30mm and accepts straight or tapered cable ends. The connector uses a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) mechanism for easy cable insertion and secure retention.
The housing and actuator are molded from glass-filled Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a tin finish, located on the top side of the connector. The component has a height above board of 2.70mm and is rated for 100V operation over a temperature range of -55°C to 105°C. Termination is via kinked pins for reliable solder joints.
