The SFW5R-2STE1LF is a 5-position, 1mm pitch FFC/FPC connector designed for surface mount right-angle installation. It supports both FFC and FPC cable types with a straight or tapered cable end, accommodating a cable thickness of 0.30mm. The connector uses a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) mechanism for easy cable insertion and secure retention.
The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a tin finish. The housing and actuator are constructed from glass-filled polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) material with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The connector is rated for 100V and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 105°C. Termination is via kinked pins for reliable solder connections.
