The SFW16S-2STE9LF is a 16-position FFC/FPC connector manufactured by Amphenol ICC. It features a 1.00mm (0.039") pitch and a vertical surface mount design with solder termination. The connector supports flat flexible cables with thicknesses of 0.30mm and 0.33mm, and accepts both straight and tapered cable end types.
The connector includes a slide lock mechanism for secure mating and a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) feature, reducing wear on contacts during insertion. Contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a tin finish. The housing and actuator are constructed from thermoplastic, glass filled material, with a flammability rating of UL94 V-0.
Electrical rating is 100V. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 85°C, suitable for a variety of environments. The connector is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited). It is designed for use in compact electronic devices where space is limited.
