It features a zero insertion force (ZIF) mechanism with a slide lock actuator, enabling easy cable insertion and secure retention without stressing the contacts. The connector supports both FFC and FPC cable types with a thickness range of 0.30mm to 0.33mm and straight or tapered cable ends. Contacts are constructed from phosphor bronze with tin plating, and both the housing and actuator are molded from glass-filled polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) rated UL94 V-0 for flammability. The surface mount, right angle orientation (2.70mm height above board) is ideal for low-profile, space-constrained PCB designs.
