The SFV18R-2STE1HLF is an 18-position, 0.5mm pitch FFC/FPC connector from Amphenol ICC. It features a surface mount, right angle orientation with top contact design. The connector includes a flip lock mechanism for secure cable retention and zero insertion force (ZIF) for easy cable insertion.
The connector is rated for 50V DC operation and has an operating temperature range of -55°C to 105°C. It accepts FFC or FPC cables with a thickness of 0.30mm and requires a notched or tabbed cable end type. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with tin finish, ensuring reliable electrical performance.
The housing is made of liquid crystal polymer (LCP) glass filled, halogen free, and the actuator is polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) glass filled, halogen free. The material flammability rating is UL94 V-0. The connector also features solder retention for reliable mounting on the PCB.
