The Samtec SFMC-108-02-S-D-P is a 16-position (2 rows) female socket receptacle from the Tiger Eye™ SFMC series, designed for surface mount applications. It features a 1.27mm (0.050") pitch and row spacing, with gold-plated beryllium copper contacts rated for 2.9A per contact. The connector is rated for 220 VAC / 310 VDC and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
The insulator is molded from black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The push-pull fastening type ensures secure mating, and the part includes a plastic pick-and-place pad for automated assembly. The surface mount leads have a coplanarity of 0.10mm max for positions 02-26.
This connector is suitable for high-density board-to-board interconnects, offering up to 10,000 mating cycles with 30µ" gold plating. It mates with Samtec’s TFM series headers and is compatible with cable mates FMTP and FFMD (gold plated callouts). The SFMC-108-02-S-D-P is lead-free solderable and designed for reliable performance in industrial and commercial electronic systems.
