SFMC-105-02-L-D-K-TR

The SFMC-105-02-L-D-K-TR is a 10-position, 2-row, 1.27mm pitch surface mount female socket receptacle from Samtec's SFMC series (Tiger Eye™ socket). It features a push-pull fastening type and is designed for board-to-board or cable applications. The connector uses beryllium copper contacts with a plating of 10 µ" gold on the contact area and matte tin on the tail, ensuring reliable electrical performance. The insulator is molded from black liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating.

Electrical ratings include 2.9A per contact (with 2 pins powered) and a voltage rating of 220 VAC / 310 VDC. The operating temperature range spans -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of environments. The surface mount termination with solder tails allows for efficient PCB assembly, and the connector is lead-free solderable.

The SFMC-105-02-L-D-K-TR is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a polyimide film pick and place pad, facilitating automated assembly. The insertion depth ranges from 3.05mm to 4.06mm, and the connector is rated for 10,000 mating cycles when used with 30 µ" gold plating. SMT lead coplanarity is maintained at 0.10mm maximum for 02-26 position configurations.

This receptacle mates with Samtec's TFM series board-mate headers and FMTP/FFMD series cable-mate systems, providing flexibility in interconnect design. The pick and place feature ensures compatibility with high-volume manufacturing processes.
