The Samtec SFM-140-01-S-D-A is a high-density receptacle from the SFM (Tiger Eye) series. It features 80 positions arranged in 2 rows with a 1.27mm pitch, making it suitable for board-to-board or cable applications. The through hole termination with solder contacts ensures reliable mechanical and electrical connections.
The insulator is made of black LCP with UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the contacts are beryllium copper with gold plating (30µin). The connector is rated for 3.7A per pin (with 2 pins powered) and 275VAC, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C. The push-pull fastening type and board guide feature facilitate easy mating and alignment.
This receptacle is lead-free solderable and supports multiple mated stacking heights (6.02mm to 11.63mm) for flexible design. It is designed for high-reliability applications requiring up to 10,000 mating cycles with gold plating.
