The SFM-135-02-S-D-A is a 70-position (2 rows) surface mount receptacle from Samtec's SFM series of Tiger Eye connectors. It features a 1.27mm (0.050") pitch and a compact insulation height of 4.70mm, with mated stacking heights ranging from 6.15mm to 11.76mm. The connector is rated for 3.2A per contact and 250VAC, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of environments.
Designed for board-to-board or cable applications, the SFM-135-02-S-D-A uses a push-pull fastening mechanism and includes a board guide feature for reliable alignment during mating. The insulator is made of black LCP with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the contacts are beryllium copper with a tin finish (30µin). Termination is via surface mount solder, enabling automated assembly.
Compliance information includes RoHS3, REACH, and MSL 1 (unverified). The part is lead-free solderable as confirmed by the datasheet. For design flexibility, an optional locking version (SFML) is available in the same series. The SFM series is also severe environment testing qualified, aligning with MIL-DTL-55302.
