The SFF1606G is a standard recovery rectifier diode manufactured by Taiwan Semiconductor. It is designed for general purpose rectification applications requiring a maximum reverse voltage of 400V and an average forward current of 16A.
Electrical characteristics include a maximum forward voltage of 1.3V at 16A, a fast reverse recovery time of 35ns, and a typical junction capacitance of 50pF at 4V and 1MHz. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
The diode is housed in a through-hole TO-220-3 Full Pack with an isolated tab, also known as the ITO-220AB supplier device package. This package provides electrical isolation between the tab and the die, simplifying heatsink mounting in many designs.
