The connector uses the Edge Rate contact system, designed for high mating cycles and 56 Gbps PAM4 performance.

 

This male plug is surface mount compatible and features a board guide for alignment. The contacts are gold-plated with 30µ" gold on the contact area and matte tin on the solder tail, over a copper alloy base. The insulator is black LCP. The connector supports a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is rated for 2.7A per pin (10 pins powered) and 240 VAC/339 VDC maximum.

 

The SEAM-50-03.5-S-10-2-A is lead-free solderable and packaged in trays of 33. It complies with VITA 47, VITA 57.1 FMC, VITA 57.4 FMC+, VITA 74 VNX, and PISMO 2 standards. Mated stacking heights range from 8.5mm to 11.5mm.
