It provides a complete RF solution from the transceiver output to the antenna for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

 

Designed for ease of use, all RF ports are matched to 50 Ω, simplifying PCB layout and transceiver integration. The module features integrated power detectors for each transmit chain with 20 dB of dynamic range and separate digital enable controls for power ramp on/off. The power ramp rise/fall time is less than 0.7 μsec.

 

Key electrical specifications include an output power of 21 dBm for 802.11b (11 Mbps), 18 dBm for 802.11g (54 Mbits), and 16.5 dBm for 802.11a (54 Mbits). It operates from a single 3.3 V ± 10% supply voltage.

 

The SE2594L-R is housed in an ultra-compact 5mm x 5mm x 0.9mm QFN package. It is lead-free, halogen-free, RoHS compliant, and rated MSL 3. The module operates across the 2.4 GHz to 2.5 GHz and 4.9 GHz to 5.875 GHz frequency ranges.
