The Sensirion AG SDP610-500PA is a low-cost digital differential pressure sensor designed for high-volume applications. It measures air and non-aggressive gases with high accuracy and no offset drift, covering a pressure range of up to ±500 Pa. The sensor features a digital 2-wire I2C interface, making it easy to connect directly to a microprocessor. The signal is internally linearized and temperature compensated.
Based on Sensirion’s patented CMOSens® sensor technology, the SDP600 series combines the sensor element, signal processing, and digital calibration on a single microchip. This differential pressure sensor utilizes a thermal sensor element with flow-through technology, offering improved long-term stability and repeatability compared to membrane-based sensors. It operates from a 3.3V supply voltage and has an operating temperature range of -20°C to 80°C.
The SDP610-500PA is suitable for board mounting and comes in a 3-SIP package with a 0.2" barbed tube port style. Its applications span medical technology, HVAC, automotive, process automation, and burner control systems. The sensor provides a 16-bit output and has an accuracy of ±3% with an operating pressure of ±0.072 PSI (±0.5kPa).
