SDMK0340L-7-F

The SDMK0340L-7-F is a surface mount Schottky barrier diode from Diodes Incorporated. It is designed for low voltage, low current applications requiring fast switching and low forward voltage drop. The diode features a maximum reverse voltage of 40V and an average rectified forward current of 30mA. At a forward current of 1mA, the typical forward voltage is 290mV with a maximum of 370mV. Reverse leakage current is typically 0.20µA and maximum 0.5µA at 30V reverse bias. The total capacitance is 2pF typical at 1V and 1MHz, making it suitable for high-speed signal processing. The device is classified as a small signal diode (≤200mA) and can operate over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Maximum power dissipation is 160mW with a thermal resistance of 625°C/W junction-to-ambient.

The diode is housed in a SOD-323 (SC-76) package with a molded plastic case rated UL 94V-0. The leads are matte tin plated over an Alloy 42 leadframe, and the polarity is indicated by a cathode band. The device is lead, halogen, and antimony free, and is RoHS compliant as a green device. It is suitable for low logic level applications, transient protection, and general purpose rectification in compact electronic designs.
