The Eaton - Electronics Division SD3-SK is a shroud kit specifically designed for use with Size 3 NH fuse bases, intended for photovoltaic (PV) fuse links. This accessory enhances safety and usability in electrical installations.
The shroud kit provides protection, with an IEC rating of IP20 when installed along with shielding of exposed terminal lug parts. For UL compliance, the shroud kit decreases the likelihood of incidental terminal contact, though additional provisions may be required by the installer to ensure IP20 specifications.
Constructed with a glass-filled PBT base, silver-plated copper contacts, and clear zinc-plated steel hardware, the SD3-SK is built for durability. It features a UL 94V0 flammability rating. Mounting options include both 35mm DIN-rail and panel mounting, offering flexibility for various system designs.
This shroud kit is compatible with NH fuse bases rated for 250A (SD1), 400A (SD2), and 630A (SD3), and supports voltage ratings of 1500Vdc (IEC) and 1000Vdc (UL/CSA). It is designed to work with Bussmann NH PV fuse links.
