This diode is constructed using a metal-on-silicon Schottky barrier technology, protected by a PN junction guardring. Its low forward voltage drop and fast switching characteristics make it suitable for protection of MOS devices, steering, biasing, and coupling diodes in fast switching and low logic level applications. Other applications include click suppression, efficient full wave bridges in telephone subsets, and blocking diodes in rechargeable low voltage battery systems.

 

The component is supplied in a SOD-323 package, weighing approximately 4 mg. It is available on 7-inch or 13-inch reels, with quantities of 3000 or 10000 units respectively. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating, and it has a Moisture Sensitivity Level (MSL) of 1.
