The SD05T3G is a unidirectional TVS diode designed for transient overvoltage and ESD protection in voltage-sensitive equipment. It features a 5V reverse standoff voltage and a maximum clamping voltage of 9.8V at 5A peak pulse current (8/20 µs waveform). The device can dissipate 350W of peak pulse power under the same test condition.
This diode meets IEC 61000-4-2 ESD protection requirements at Level 4, with a minimum 15kV air discharge and 8kV contact discharge rating. It also provides EFT immunity of 40A per IEC 61000-4-4 and lightning surge protection of 24A per IEC 61000-4-5. The device is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications.
The SD05T3G is housed in a surface-mount SOD-323 package (SC-76) and is supplied on a 13-inch reel with 10,000 units per reel. It is Pb-free and RoHS compliant, with an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited).
