The SD05T1G is a unidirectional Zener TVS diode designed for transient overvoltage protection in voltage and ESD sensitive equipment. It provides a reverse standoff voltage of 5V and a maximum clamping voltage of 9.8V at a peak pulse current of 24A (8/20µs). The device can handle 350W of peak pulse power and offers robust ESD protection meeting IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 with 15kV air discharge and 8kV contact discharge. It also meets IEC 61000-4-4 Level 4 for EFT immunity at 40A and IEC 61000-4-5 for lightning immunity at 24A.
The device is housed in a surface mount SOD-323 package (SC-76 case) and is rated for a steady state power dissipation of 300mW on an FR-4 board. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The SD05T1G is Pb-Free and RoHS compliant, and it meets MSL 1 requirements. It is suitable for automotive applications and is AEC-Q101 qualified.
