The SBRS8190NT3G from onsemi is a Schottky power rectifier diode in a compact SMB (DO-214AA) surface-mount package. It features a low forward voltage drop of 750 mV at 1 A, enabling high efficiency in low-voltage applications.
With a maximum average rectified current of 2 A and a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 90 V, this diode is suitable for power supply and conversion circuits. It can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 50 A. The device operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 175°C.
The state-of-the-art geometry employs epitaxial construction with oxide passivation and metal overlay contact. The guardring provides stress protection. The device is Pb-Free and reported as RoHS3 compliant. It is qualified to AEC-Q101 and PPAP capable, making it suitable for automotive applications.
The SMB package features J-bend leads for reliable surface mounting. It is supplied in tape and reel with 2500 units per reel. The thermal resistance from junction to lead is 22 °C/W typical.
