The SBRD8330G is a Schottky barrier rectifier from On Semiconductor, designed for switch-mode power supply applications. It features a 30V reverse voltage and 3A forward current rating with a low forward voltage drop of 600 mV at 3 A. The device offers extremely fast switching with recovery time less than 500 ns, making it suitable for output rectification, freewheeling, and protection diodes in inductive switching circuits.
This rectifier is rated for 75 A nonrepetitive peak surge current and has a wide operating temperature range from -65°C to 175°C. It comes in a DPAK (TO-252-3) surface mount package with epoxy molded case and corrosion-resistant solderable leads. The part is ESD rated to Class 3B (Human Body Model) and Class C (Machine Model).
The SBRD8330G is Pb-free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS compliant, meeting environmental standards for modern electronic designs. It is AEC-Q101 qualified and PPAP capable for automotive applications.
