The SBR8U60P5-13 is a Super Barrier Rectifier (SBR) developed by Diodes Incorporated, designed for high-efficiency rectification in power conversion applications. This device offers an average rectified current of 8A and a maximum reverse voltage of 60V, making it suitable for low-voltage, high-current circuits.
Key electrical characteristics include an ultra-low forward voltage drop of 530 mV at 8A, which reduces power dissipation and improves system efficiency. The diode also features fast recovery speed (≤500 ns) and a high non-repetitive peak surge current capability of 280A, providing robustness against transient overcurrents.
The SBR8U60P5-13 is housed in a compact PowerDI5 surface-mount package, offering excellent thermal performance with a junction-to-soldering thermal resistance of 3°C/W and a junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 60°C/W.
