The Schottky power rectifier employs the Schottky Barrier principle with a barrier metal that produces optimal forward voltage drop–reverse current tradeoff. It features very low forward voltage (0.38 V max at 0.5 A, 25°C), guardring for stress protection, and 125°C operating junction temperature. The device is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications. It is packaged in a SOD-123 case with epoxy molding, weighs 11.7 mg, and has a cathode band polarity indicator. The part is Pb-free and RoHS compliant (per datasheet). Typical applications include low-voltage, high-frequency rectification, freewheeling, and polarity protection in surface-mount designs.
