The SBL1660CT from Diodes Incorporated is a 16A Schottky barrier rectifier array designed for low voltage, high frequency applications. It features a common cathode configuration with two 8A diodes in a single TO-220-3 package. The Schottky technology provides a low forward voltage drop of 0.7V typical at 8A, minimizing power loss and improving efficiency.
With a maximum average rectified output current of 16A and a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 60V, this device is suitable for use in power supplies, freewheeling diodes, and polarity protection circuits. It can handle non-repetitive surge currents up to 250A, ensuring robust performance under transient conditions. The junction capacitance is 700pF, and the thermal resistance from junction to case is 3.5°C/W.
