The SBL1040 is a 40V, 10A Schottky Barrier Rectifier from Diodes Incorporated, part of the SBL1030-SBL1060 series. It features a low forward voltage drop of 0.6V typical at 10A and 25°C, reducing power loss in high-efficiency applications. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 250A (8.3ms single half sine-wave), making it robust for transient conditions.
The Schottky chip includes a guard ring die construction for transient protection. Typical junction capacitance is 700pF measured at 4V reverse bias and 1MHz, suitable for high-frequency operation.
