The SBAS40LT3G is a Schottky barrier diode from On Semiconductor designed for high-speed switching, circuit protection, and voltage clamping. It features a reverse voltage rating of 40V and a forward continuous current of 120mA. The diode exhibits low forward voltage: 380mV at 1mA, 500mV at 10mA, and 1V at 40mA, reducing conduction loss. Reverse leakage current is limited to 1µA at 25V reverse voltage. Total capacitance is 5pF at 1V and 1MHz. The device is housed in a surface-mount SOT-23-3 package (also known as TO-236-3 or SC-59) and is rated for operation from -55°C to +150°C junction temperature. Power dissipation is 225mW at 25°C ambient. The SBAS40LT3G is Pb-Free, Halogen Free/BFR Free, and RoHS compliant. It is suitable for portable and handheld applications where space is limited.
