The SBAS40LT1G is a Schottky barrier diode from onsemi designed for high-speed switching applications, circuit protection, and voltage clamping. It features an extremely low forward voltage to reduce conduction loss. The device is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 40V and a maximum forward continuous current of 120mA. Forward surge current capability is 200mA for 1 second and 600mA for 10ms. Forward voltage is 380mV maximum at 1mA, 500mV at 10mA, and 1V at 40mA. Maximum reverse leakage current is 1µA at 25V reverse bias. Total capacitance is 5pF at 1V and 1MHz. Power dissipation is 225mW at 25°C ambient, derating at 1.8mW/°C above 25°C. Operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 150°C. The device is housed in a surface-mount SOT-23-3 (TO-236) package with gull-wing terminations and is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel. The S prefix indicates automotive qualification (AEC-Q101).
