It is rated for a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V and an average rectified forward current of 5A at TC = 80°C. The device offers a low forward voltage drop of 0.8V maximum at 5A and 25°C, and 0.7V at 125°C, contributing to high efficiency and low power losses.
This rectifier is designed for use in middle voltage high frequency inverters, freewheeling diodes, DC/DC converters, and polarity protection applications. It features a high forward surge capability of 200A (8.3 ms half sine-wave) and a peak repetitive reverse surge current of 1A. The maximum operating junction temperature is 175°C, with a storage temperature range of -55°C to +175°C.
The SB5H100 is housed in a DO-201AD axial leaded package, suitable for through-hole mounting. The cathode is identified by a color band. The device is RoHS3 compliant and has matte tin plated leads, solderable per J-STD-002 and JESD 22-B102.
