The SB180 is a Schottky barrier rectifier diode manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is designed for high-efficiency power rectification applications requiring low forward voltage drop and fast switching.
The diode has a maximum reverse voltage rating of 80V and an average rectified current of 1A. The forward voltage is typically 850mV at 1A forward current. It features fast recovery time (less than 500ns at >200mA). Junction capacitance is 110pF at 4V reverse bias and 1MHz.
The SB180 is available in a DO-204AL (DO-41) axial leaded package with through-hole mounting. It operates over a junction temperature range of -60°C to 125°C.
Typical applications include freewheeling diodes, polarity protection, and low voltage power supplies. The Schottky technology provides high switching speed and low power loss.
