The SB05W05C-TB-E from onsemi is a monolithic dual Schottky barrier diode array in a common cathode configuration. It is designed for high-frequency rectification in switching regulators, converters, and choppers. The device features a low forward voltage of 550 mV maximum at 500 mA and a fast reverse recovery time of 10 ns, enabling efficient high-speed switching.
With a maximum average rectified current of 500 mA per element and a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 50 V, this diode array is suitable for low-power rectification and freewheeling applications. The low leakage current of 50 µA at 25 V reverse bias and low junction capacitance of 24 pF contribute to reduced power loss and improved switching performance.
The SB05W05C-TB-E is housed in a compact surface-mount SOT-23-3 (SC-59, TO-236) package, making it ideal for space-constrained designs. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 pieces per reel, supporting automated assembly processes.
