The SACB7.0 is a unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other events. It offers 500W peak pulse power dissipation capability (10/1000μs waveform) with a stand-off voltage of 7.0V.
The device features a minimum breakdown voltage of 7.60V at 1.0 mA and a maximum clamping voltage of 12.6V at 5.0A peak pulse current. Maximum peak pulse current is 38A. The diode responds to transients in less than 1.0 picosecond, providing fast protection. It has a maximum reverse leakage current of 300 µA at 7.0V and a junction capacitance of 45 pF at 0V.
The SACB7.0 is housed in a surface-mount DO-214AA (SMB) package, suitable for automated assembly. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. The part is halogen free and RoHS compliant, with a Pb-free E3 terminal finish. It meets MSL level 1 and is suitable for general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
