The SACB18 is a 500W unidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode manufactured by Littelfuse Inc. Designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events, it is ideal for general purpose applications such as I/O interfaces, VCC bus, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
This TVS diode features a clamping voltage of 28.8V at a peak pulse current of 15A (10/1000μs waveform). It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 500W and a fast response time typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage minimum. The device is unidirectional with a single channel, and its operating temperature range spans from -55°C to 150°C.
The SACB18 is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package, suitable for automated assembly. It is RoHS compliant and halogen free, with an MSL rating of Level 1 (unlimited). The matte tin lead-free plating ensures compatibility with lead-free soldering processes.
