The SA64CA is a 500W bi-directional TVS diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 64V and a maximum clamping voltage of 103V at a peak pulse current of 5A (10/1000μs waveform).
The device offers fast response time (less than 1.0ps) and excellent clamping capability. It is built with a glass passivated chip junction in a DO-15 (DO-204AC) axial leaded package, suitable for through-hole mounting. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 175°C (junction temperature).
