The SA64A is a 500W transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse Inc., part of the SA series. It is designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. The device offers a reverse standoff voltage of 64V and a clamping voltage of 103V, with a peak pulse current rating of 5A under a 10/1000μs waveform. It features a fast response time of typically less than 1.0ps from 0V to breakdown voltage minimum.
This unidirectional TVS diode is housed in a DO-204AC (DO-15) axial leaded through-hole package, suitable for through-hole mounting. It operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 175°C.
