The Littelfuse Inc. SA6.0CA is an axial leaded TVS diode from the SA series, engineered to safeguard sensitive electronic equipment against voltage transients. With a peak pulse power dissipation of 500W at a 10/1000μs waveform, this device is suitable for protecting I/O interfaces, VCC buses, and other vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics.
Key features include a fast response time of typically less than 1.0 ps, excellent clamping capability, and a typical failure mode of short from over-specified voltage or current. The diode operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to 175°C and is constructed with a glass passivated chip junction in a DO-15 package. It offers ESD protection up to 30kV (air and contact) per IEC-61000-4-2 and EFT protection per IEC 61000-4-4.
The SA6.0CA is designed for through-hole mounting and features a matte tin lead-free plated finish. It is RoHS and Halogen free compliant, with Pb-free E3 termination. The device is rated for a 6V standoff voltage and a 10.3V clamping voltage at 49.5A peak pulse current.
