The SA30CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from voltage transients. It offers a peak pulse power dissipation of 500W on a 10/1000 μs waveform and a clamping voltage of 48.4V at a peak pulse current of 10.3A.
The device features a glass passivated junction for reliability, fast response time (typically 5.0 ns for bidirectional types), and low incremental surge resistance. The reverse stand-off voltage is 30V, and the breakdown voltage range is 33.3V to 36.8V at a test current of 1.0 mA. Reverse leakage current is a maximum of 1 μA.
The SA30CA is housed in a DO-204AC (DO-15) axial lead package, suitable for through-hole mounting. It is intended for general-purpose transient protection applications.
