The Micro Commercial SA30A-TP is a TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) Diode with a 500W peak pulse power dissipation rating. It is designed for general purpose applications and features a glass-passivated chip for excellent clamping capability and low leakage.
This unidirectional TVS diode has a standoff voltage of 30V and a clamping voltage of 48.4V at a peak pulse current of 10A. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to +175°C, and the storage temperature range is also -55°C to +175°C.
The SA30A-TP comes in a DO-15 axial package and is suitable for through-hole mounting. Its epoxy meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The device is RoHS compliant and lead-free.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum instantaneous forward voltage of 3.5V at 35A and a leakage current of 1µA at 30V reverse standoff voltage.
