The SA10CA is a 500W bidirectional transient voltage suppression (TVS) diode from Littelfuse, designed to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient events. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 10V, a breakdown voltage range of 11.1V to 12.3V at 1mA test current, and a maximum clamping voltage of 17V at 30A peak pulse current (10/1000μs waveform). The device offers fast response time of less than 1 picosecond and ESD protection up to 30kV contact and air discharge per IEC 61000-4-2.
This TVS diode is suitable for general-purpose applications including I/O interfaces, VCC bus protection, and vulnerable circuits in telecom, computer, industrial, and consumer electronics. It is packaged in a DO-204AC (DO-15) axial leaded package with through-hole mounting, and operates over a junction temperature range of -65°C to 175°C. The SA10CA is RoHS compliant and halogen free, with matte tin lead-free plating.
