The JST S9B-PH-SM3-TB is a 9 position, single row, shrouded header from the PH series. It features a 2.00mm pitch and is designed for board-to-cable/wire connections. The header is fully shrouded with walls on all four sides to prevent improper mating and contamination. It is surface mount, right angle, and uses solder termination. The contacts are made of brass with a tin-lead finish and have a square shape. The insulation is natural polyamide (PA46) with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The header includes a solder retention feature to prevent floating during reflow soldering. Electrical ratings include 2A current and 100V voltage. Operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C. Contact resistance is 10mΩ max initial and 20mΩ max after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is 1,000MΩ min and withstanding voltage is 800V AC/minute. Applicable wire is AWG #32 to #24 and PC board thickness is 0.8 to 1.6mm.
