The S8KC-13 is an 8.0A surface mount glass passivated rectifier diode from Diodes Incorporated. It has a peak repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) of 800V and an average rectified output current of 8.0A at +75°C. The forward voltage is typically 0.985V at 8A, and reverse current is 10μA at 25°C.
The device offers a non-repetitive peak forward surge current rating of 200A for an 8.3ms half sine-wave, and 450A for 1.0ms. The I²t rating is 166 A²s. Operating junction temperature range is -65°C to +150°C, with a typical thermal resistance of 10°C/W from junction to terminal.
