S8B-ZR-SM3A-TF

The JST S8B-ZR-SM3A-TF is a surface mount right angle header belonging to the ZH connector series. It features 8 positions in a single row with a 1.5mm pitch, making it suitable for compact board-to-cable/wire applications. The header is fully shrouded with a 4-wall design and includes a detent lock for secure mating with ZH crimp or ZR IDC receptacles. Contacts are made of brass with a tin-lead finish, and the housing is molded from glass-filled polyamide (PA46) with a natural color and UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Electrical ratings include 1A current and 50V voltage, with initial contact resistance of 20 mΩ max and insulation resistance of 500 MΩ min. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C. The header includes a solder retention feature for reliable surface mount attachment, and it is designed for PC board thicknesses of 0.6 to 1.2mm or 1.6mm. Compatible wire range is AWG 32 to 26. This connector is ideal for low current, low voltage conditions in space-constrained electronic devices.
