The S5BC-13-F is a standard recovery rectifier diode from Diodes Incorporated, designed for general purpose rectification in power supplies, converters, and freewheeling applications. It features a glass passivated die construction for high reliability and low leakage.
Key electrical specifications include a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 100V, average rectified output current of 5A at +75°C, and non-repetitive peak forward surge current ratings of 100A (8.3ms) and 200A (1ms). Maximum forward voltage is 1.15V at 5A, and reverse current is 10µA at 25°C and 250µA at 125°C. Typical junction capacitance is 40pF at 4V and 1MHz.
The device is housed in an SMC (DO-214AB) surface mount package with matte tin lead-free plating. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel. Operating and storage temperature range is -65°C to 150°C. Thermal resistance from junction to terminal is 10°C/W when mounted on a PC board with 5.0mm² copper.
