The S5AC-13-F is a 5.0A surface mount glass passivated rectifier diode from Diodes Incorporated. It is designed for general purpose rectification in power supplies and other applications requiring high current capability. The device features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 50V and a forward voltage drop of 1.15V maximum at 5A.
The rectifier offers a non-repetitive peak forward surge current rating of 100A (8.3ms) and 200A (1.0ms), providing robust surge handling. Reverse leakage current is 10µA at 25°C and 250µA at 125°C. Total capacitance is 40pF at 4V, 1MHz. The device is classified as standard recovery with recovery time >500ns.
The S5AC-13-F is housed in a DO-214AB (SMC) package, suitable for automated assembly. It is supplied in tape and reel packaging with 3000 units per reel.
