The JST S3B-ZR(LF)(SN) is a 3 position, single row, right angle shrouded header from the ZR series. It features a 1.5mm pitch and male pin contacts with tin finish. The header is designed for board to cable/wire applications and uses a detent lock fastening system for secure mating.
Electrical ratings include a voltage rating of 50V and a current rating of 1A (note: datasheet specifies 0.7A for AWG #28 wire). The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C. Contact resistance is 20 mΩ maximum initial and 30 mΩ maximum after environmental testing. Insulation resistance is 500 MΩ minimum, and withstanding voltage is 500 VAC for 1 minute.
The header is through hole mounted with a right angle orientation and solder termination. The insulation material is glass filled polyamide (PA66/Nylon 6/6) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating. The contact material is brass (datasheet indicates phosphor bronze). Packaging is emboss tape with a standard quantity of 2000 pieces per box.
