The S2G-13 from Diodes Incorporated is a glass passivated rectifier diode designed for general purpose applications. It features a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 400V and an average rectified current of 1.5A at a case temperature of 100°C. The diode offers a low forward voltage drop of 1.15V at 1.5A and a non-repetitive surge current rating of 50A.
The device is rated for an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C with a thermal resistance of 20°C/W from junction to terminal when mounted on a PC board with 5.0 mm² copper pads. It is housed in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package with gull wing leads, making it suitable for automated assembly.
The S2G-13 is RoHS3 compliant (with glass and high temperature solder exemptions) and has a moisture sensitivity level of 1 per J-STD-020C. It is also lead-free finish. This diode is ideal for use in power supplies, converters, and other rectification circuits requiring standard recovery speeds.
The peak repetitive reverse voltage (VRRM) is 400V.
The average rectified current (Io) is 1.5A at TC=100°C. Derate by 20% for capacitive load.
The forward voltage is 1.15V maximum at IF=1.5A.
This is a standard recovery diode with recovery time greater than 500ns at 200mA.
