The S2B-13 is a surface mount glass passivated rectifier diode designed for general purpose applications. It offers a maximum average rectified current of 1.5A and a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 100V. The forward voltage is typically 1.15V at 1.5A, and reverse current is low at 5µA at 25°C. The device can handle a non-repetitive peak forward surge current of 50A for 8.3ms, making it suitable for applications requiring high inrush tolerance. The S2B-13 is housed in a DO-214AA (SMB) package with gull wing leads for surface mount assembly. It operates over a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and has a thermal resistance of 20°C/W when mounted on a PCB with proper copper pads. The diode is RoHS compliant and meets MSL Level 1 per J-STD-020C. Typical applications include power supplies, converters, and other rectification circuits where standard recovery speed is acceptable.
