The S1AB-13 is a standard recovery rectifier diode from Diodes Incorporated. It features a glass passivated die construction for high reliability and is rated for a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 50V and an average rectified current of 1A. The diode exhibits a maximum forward voltage of 1.1V at 1A and a typical reverse recovery time of 3 µs, making it suitable for general purpose rectification and switching applications up to 50V.
The device is supplied in a surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package, enabling automated assembly. The package is molded from UL 94V-0 rated plastic and has a matte tin lead finish. It is RoHS3 compliant, halogen and antimony free, and rated MSL Level 1 (unlimited). Key thermal characteristics include an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and a typical junction-to-terminal thermal resistance of 30°C/W.
