The JST S16B-PASK-2(LF)(SN) is a 16-position, single-row, 2.00mm pitch shrouded header from the PA family. It features a through hole right angle mounting style with kinked pin solder termination. The connector is designed for board-to-cable/wire applications and includes a secure locking ramp fastening mechanism.
Electrical ratings include a current rating of 3A and a voltage rating of 250V. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C. The insulator is made of glass-filled PBT in natural color with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating. Contacts are square male pins made of copper alloy with a tin finish.
The header is fully shrouded with four walls and includes a board guide feature. It accepts wire gauges from AWG 26 to 22 with an insulation outer diameter of 1.5 to 2.0 mm. Contact resistance is 20 mΩ maximum initial and 30 mΩ after environmental tests. Insulation resistance is 1000 MΩ minimum, with a withstanding voltage of 1000V AC per minute.
