The JST S05B-PASK-2(LF)(SN) is a 5-position, single-row header from the PA series, designed for board-to-cable/wire applications. It features a 2.00mm pitch and a through-hole right-angle mounting style with kinked pin solder termination. The connector is shrouded with a 4-wall design and includes a locking ramp for secure mating.
Electrical ratings include a current rating of 3A and a voltage rating of 250V. Contact resistance is 20 mΩ initial (30 mΩ after environmental tests), insulation resistance is 1000 MΩ minimum, and withstanding voltage is 1000V AC. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 85°C.
The header accepts wire sizes AWG #28 to #22 with insulation O.D. of 0.9 mm to 1.6 mm. Contacts are made of copper alloy with tin finish, and the insulator is glass-filled PBT (UL94 V-0) in natural color. A board guide feature aids alignment during assembly.
